This Introduction to Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Session is suitable for anyone who would like to try Mindfulness Meditation and discover the benefits it can offer us in our busy lives. It is also suitable for who anyone who already practices – or has practiced – Mindfulness Meditation and would like to come and strengthen or re-connect with their practice by meditating in a group. COME AND STEP OUT OF THE BUSY “DOING MODE” AND IN TO “BEING MODE”!
Participants will be introduced to some of the key principles of living mindfully, and to some of the core meditation practices to help cultivate mindfulness in daily life.
CONTENT: The session will be combination of Mindfulness Meditation practices and some teaching and discussion. The session will provide a safe and supportive environment for each person to explore their experience. The Meditations are guided and will be practiced either sitting, lying down, standing, walking (outside in the garden weather permitting) or with some gentle movement. Seating is on bolsters/mats (chairs can be provided on request).
PLEASE wear loose and comfortable clothing allowing you to breathe and move freely.

HOW TO FIND US
The Yoga Garden is located just off the A24 between Worthing & Horsham.
We’re set in a rural location, which is why we’re one of Sussex’s best kept secrets, but we want you to be able to find us!
Heading south on the A24 take the turn off for Dial Post, 2.9 miles south of Bucks Barn cross roads. Follow the road until you enter the village, take the first right onto Swallows Lane, then take the first left after the national speed limit signs, the track is sign posted Knepp Wildland Safaris, New Barn Farm and The Yoga Garden.
Heading north on the A24 from the Washington Roundabout take the turn off for Dial Post after 4.5 miles. Follow the road until you enter the village, take second left onto Swallows lane, then take the first left after the national speed limit signs the track is signposted ‘The Yoga Garden and Knepp Safaris”
WHEN YOU ARRIVE: Please drive slowly down the track and park in the designated car park on the left. Follow the path on foot past the Go Down and over the bridge. You will see the 2 yurts ahead of you at the end of the path. We will be in the smaller Yurt on the right. The site-map will help you find the yoga garden yurt. If you get lost please call us! It is advisable to wear sturdy footwear and to bring a torch for evening classes.

Claire Griffin lives in Shoreham By Sea, West Sussex and is an accredited and experienced Mindfulness Teacher and Mindfulness in the Workplace Trainer. She qualified as a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Teacher with The Mindful Academy. Claire teaches MBSR 8-week courses in Shoreham By Sea, West Sussex, and co-teaches at the Solterreno Retreat Centre in Spain. As a certified Mindfulness in the Workplace Trainer she also runs Mindfulness Workshops and Courses for companies in London and Brighton
