Writer/Analyst – Digital Intelligence Company. to £62K
My client is a very highly regarded aggregator and provider of digital intelligence to leading brands and agency groups. Firmly established in the USA (with a head office in New York) they already do business with some leading blue chip brands and agency groups in the UK and are looking to increase their market share here.
The company is passionate about all things digital. That’s why the world’s leading brands, media companies and agencies turn to them every day for for data, analysis and insights on digital marketing, media and commerce. As part of their expansion in to the UK and Europe they are looking for a superb Writer to join their International Content team. You will research and write a range of bylined content, from short articles to 20-page reports. You must be familiar with the interactive advertising industry and digital marketing, and comfortable interpreting surveys and writing about numbers.
Write about digital marketing in a variety of industries for their client base. Content will include e-newsletter articles and in-depth reports on focused topics
- Conduct interviews with industry executives for use in various content pieces
- Stay on top of trends in (for example) the travel industry’s use of digital marketing and media
- Participate in developing topics for future reports
Bachelor’s degree or higher: preferably in journalism, English, communications or business
Requirements for the role:
Must be an exceptionally strong business writer who can write clearly, persuasively and cleanly
3+ years experience writing about online marketing for a news publication, industry blog or other media outlet. Will also consider candidates who have 3+ years experience writing research reports for a market research firm, PR firm or ad agency
Comfortable with numbers and have an interest in analyzing data, surveys and forecasts
Ability to formulate and communicate your ideas using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and blogging platforms
Ability to work independently on projects that can take anywhere from 1 day to 6 weeks
This is a UK home-based position. FULL TIME.
