Head of Sales – [Retail or FMCG]

As more and more and more businesses are waking up to the mobile opportunity my client is demonstrating proven success amongst its client base in growing vital KPIs such as increased loyalty, sales, interactions and brand awareness through the use of specialist technology, insights and expertise and they are taking this offering into newer sectors.

Objective of the role:

They are looking for experienced sales professionals to lead the sales effort in in the areas of Retail and FMCG.   Attractive candidates will have a proven track record of sales and sales management and sector specific experience is a must.  They take a consultative sales approach and salespeople need to have a deep understanding of the company offering in order to be successful.

You may have sold in or into the sectors and will be expected to show a clear view on how the sector is evolving and how our offering can gain optimum cut through.

This is the lead sales role for the sector in Europe therefore the right candidate will be responsible for building the pipeline of opportunities, help shape the proposition and bring contacts and sector insight to the table.   Reporting to the VP of Sales.

Person Specification:

Personal Attributes:  Positive, team orientated individual. Enjoys the sales challenge, opening doors, fostering relationships

Relevant Experience: Selling in or to the FMCG or retail sector. Managing a significant sales pipeline and target

Practical Skills: Thrive in a high speed culture with a understanding of how to build internal relationships to get things done. Enjoy board level and industry event presentations
