This is a vital, senior and high profile position.
The key role of the Head of Digital is to continuously redefine and champion the digital roadmap and offering for the Agency, but always within the context of the agency’s expertise and positioning.
The Head of Digital will bring career long digital expertise, along with a near evangelistic approach to selling digital to clients, an infectious and motivating enthusiasm for the delivery of ground breaking digital solutions and excellent business and agency skills.
The Head of Digital will be responsible for engaging with both clients and internal agency teams to ensure that digital opportunities are identified in the first instance and the agency put forward as a highly competent digital partner. Further to this they will be responsible for working with our planning, creative and regional digital teams in the conceptualising of innovative strategies from insights and data and the implementation of digital communications across eCommerce, social media, web and mobile channels and as part of integrated communication campaigns.
They must also be a bona-fide digital native and familiar with the London digital industry circuit, both active in social media and if possible as an industry speaker/columnist/blogger.
This role offers places on both the agency Senior Management Team and the Global Digital Leadership Team.
Skills, Competencies and Experience

Deep digital industry and technology knowledge
Proven experience in a similar role within a digital or integrated agency model.
Excellent presentation skills (written and verbal), with the ability to articulate thoughts and ideas with clarity and an ability to inspire.
Experience in managing a range of digital media projects to a successful conclusion for the client and the agency (such as website, applications, ecommerce sites, technology at retail, social media and viral campaigns).
Comfortable with all forms of communication and platforms, with an incessant passion to understand emerging technologies, while also having an understanding of the strengths and limitations of those technologies.
Understanding of how consumers behave, act and buy brands and how online and offline blend to engage consumers.
A solid understanding of omni-channel customer journeys and how digital can enrich the overall brand experience.
Well proven strategic awareness and understanding, and the ability to distil recommendations and insights from multiple data sources into simple, accessible thoughts.
Ability to operate and succeed in a fast paced growth environment maintaining core principles and business strategies.
Ability and confidence to develop and sustain consultative client partnerships.
Strong commercial awareness.
Ability to work as an integrated part of the team, managing issues as they arise and fostering enthusiasm across the agency.
